Share → MemoryStore. We pull the public transcript, build chapters, summary and tags automatically. Search inside the words the creator said.
Save the reel.
Find it by what it said.
Reels, shorts and TikToks pile up in a folder nobody opens. MemoryStore is a private library for short-form video — AI transcribes and tags every YouTube save automatically. For Instagram and TikTok, tap once to upload the clip and unlock full AI search.

A bookmark is not a memory.
The native "Saved" folder is the same thing as a junk drawer. You drop something in. You never open it. Months later you can't remember what's in there, and the search box only looks at the title — which you didn't write.
Asking ChatGPT about something you watched doesn't help either — it has no idea what you saved. Your AI and your library live in different worlds.
It takes one share. Then it does the work.
No new app to switch into, no metadata to fill in. You hit Share, MemoryStore reads the clip, and from then on it lives in a library that's actually searchable.

Share, from where you already are.
Reel, Short, TikTok, YouTube link, post. Tap the system share sheet, pick MemoryStore. That's it. We log the source, the thumbnail, the creator, the time you saved it.

The AI reads it. Transcript, summary, tags.
For YouTube — the full pass: transcript, chapters, semantic tags, summary. For uploaded clips — same. For Instagram and TikTok links (where we can't pull the video, by their rules) — title, caption, OG metadata. You can upgrade any of these to the full pass by uploading the clip.

Ask for it the way you'd ask a friend.
"That pasta one." "The Andrew Huberman bit about sunlight." "Something a founder said about churn." MemoryStore searches inside the transcripts — not just the titles — and brings back the clip with a timestamp.
Every save you make is a node in your own graph.
MemoryStore quietly links things that talk about the same idea — different creators, different platforms, different days. After a few months you stop having a saved folder and start having a map of what you've been thinking about.

Instagram won't let us read its videos. So we let you.
Here's the truth: Instagram and TikTok don't allow third-party apps to download or stream their clips. We're not going to break their rules — and we're not going to pretend we can do something we can't.
So when you save a reel, MemoryStore stores the link, the cover, the caption and the source. If you want the full AI pass on it — transcript, semantic search, chat — there's a one-tap "Upload to enable AI" button on the card. You provide the clip, we do the rest.
Save from anywhere. We meet each platform on its terms.
Some platforms let third-party apps read what's inside their videos. Some don't. Here's exactly what you get on each one — no marketing wiggle.
Share → MemoryStore. Caption, cover, creator, saved time. Tap “Upload to enable AI” if you want a transcript — Meta doesn't let us pull the video for you.
Same flow as Instagram. Caption and cover come down automatically; upload the clip yourself to unlock the full AI pass.
Tweet text, author, embedded media link. Upload the video if you want it transcribed and searchable.
Use the Chrome extension on desktop. Post text and author save automatically; upload the video to enable AI.
Drop a video file straight into the app. Transcribed, tagged, summarized exactly like a YouTube save. Lives in your Google Drive on paid plans.
Why the difference? YouTube exposes a public transcript API. Meta and TikTok don't. We don't break anyone's rules — if Meta pulled us from the App Store, you'd lose access to everything. So we ask for one tap from you, instead.
ChatGPT doesn't know what you've watched. It never will.
That's the gap. MemoryStore reads every video you save and gives you one share link — paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and they answer using your library, not the open internet.
- link One link per user, always up to date as you add saves
- visibility_off Metadata only — your raw clips stay on your Drive
- close Revoke any time and the link goes blank
MemoryStore now speaks MCP. ChatGPT and Claude can browse your library.
Model Context Protocol (MCP) gives AI assistants direct, authenticated access to your saved content. No copy-paste. No share links. ChatGPT and Claude can search your videos, retrieve transcripts, and ground decisions in what you've actually watched — not the internet.
Connect once, use everywhere
Link your MemoryStore account to ChatGPT or Claude through a one-time OAuth handshake. No API keys. No manual setup. Just tap approve in the app and your AI assistant gains access to your full saved library.
Search your library from ChatGPT
Ask ChatGPT "Find the YouTube video I saved about Kubernetes networking" and it searches your personal library, not the public web. Returns exact matches with transcripts and timestamps.
Retrieve video context
When you ask a follow-up about a saved video, the AI pulls the transcript, summary, and key points. It cites what you actually watched — months ago, with perfect recall.
Thought Connect — grounded thinking
The most advanced MCP tool. Tell the AI what you're trying to plan, decide, or learn — and it retrieves relevant evidence from your library in structured tiers (strong, medium, weak matches). Not generic advice. Advice grounded in content you chose to save.
Available now for all MemoryStore users. Connect at mcp.memorystore.in.

What people actually say
I used to save reels and never open them again. Now my MemoryStore is the first place I search — before Google.
Finally a memory app that actually understands what's inside the video. The graph view is wild.
Three weeks in and I've already found a YouTube clip I'd been hunting for since March. Worth the $7.

Your files live in your Google Drive. That's your export.
We never sell data. We never train models on your library. Anything you upload syncs to a folder in your Google Drive on paid plans — so if MemoryStore ever shuts down, your files are already in your Drive. No vendor lock-in, no export step needed.
Questions we actually get
Why doesn't AI work automatically on my Instagram saves?
Instagram's terms don't allow third-party apps to read or download their video files. Same with TikTok. We could try to hack around it. We don't, because if Meta or TikTok ever notice, the app gets pulled from the store and you lose access to everything. So on those platforms we save the link, cover, and caption — and let you tap "Upload to enable AI" if you want the full pass. YouTube is different — they expose a public transcript API, so YouTube saves get the full pass automatically.
Where is my data actually stored?
Your saved metadata (tags, summaries, transcripts) lives on our servers. The original media — anything you upload — is synced to your own Google Drive on paid plans. If MemoryStore ever shuts down, you still have the raw files in a folder you own. No vendor lock-in.
Are you going to train AI on my saves?
No. Your library is private. We don't sell it, we don't license it to model providers, we don't train on it.
Is Android really available?
Yes — the Android beta is now complete and the app is fully available on the Play Store. It has reached feature parity with iOS and you can install it right now. We ship updates every couple of weeks.
How is this different from Pocket / Raindrop / Notes?
Those store URLs. MemoryStore stores what's inside the URL — the actual sentences spoken, the topics, the people. That changes what you can do later: instead of scrolling a folder, you ask a question and get the clip back.
What happens when the original video gets deleted?
For YouTube links we keep the transcript, summary, chapters and tags — the words don't disappear when the video does. For Instagram and TikTok link-only saves, the thumbnail and caption stay, but the original video page may 404. If you tap “Upload to enable AI” on any save, the clip lives in your Google Drive on paid plans and survives anyone pulling the post down.
How is my data encrypted and secured?
All data is encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. Your media syncs to your own Google Drive on paid plans — meaning you hold the keys to your files. Our servers are behind Cloudflare with DDoS protection and strict access controls. We never sell your data, and we never train AI models on your library. Read the full breakdown on our Privacy page.
Can I cancel anytime? Is there a refund policy?
Yes — cancel anytime from Settings or your App Store / Play Store subscriptions. Your paid features remain active until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google per their standard policies (typically within 14 days). If you have trouble, email hello@memorystore.in and we'll help.
Can I delete my account and all my data?
Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, all saved cards, uploads, and AI data from our servers. Files already in your Google Drive remain yours. If you run into issues, email hello@memorystore.in and we'll process it within 48 hours.
Who's behind this? Are you a real company?
Yes — MemoryStore is run by a small team out of Bhopal, India, registered at memorystore.in. Not VC-funded. Not a side project we're going to abandon. Email hello@memorystore.in and a person writes back, usually within a day.
Does it work for non-English content — Hindi, Tamil, Spanish?
Yes. Transcription and search work on every major language we've tested. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin — if the audio's clear, it gets transcribed. The app UI is currently English and Hindi.
What's on the roadmap?
We maintain a public roadmap with 20 features across 5 phases. Highlights include WhatsApp/Telegram bot integration, duration-based smart folders, dead link detection, PiP support, progress tracking, home screen widgets, and visual streaks. Got something you want sooner? Tell us at hello@memorystore.in.
A small team. One real email.
We're not VC-funded. We're not building this to flip it. We built MemoryStore because we got tired of saving things we never used again. If something breaks or you have a question, write to hello@memorystore.in — it goes to a person, not a bot.
I built this because every platform has a save button — but accounts get banned, content gets removed, and the things you saved just vanish. Your memories shouldn't depend on someone else's content policy.
Stop hoarding. Start finding.
Free for 10 saves a day, forever. No card.
